What the hosting provider logs

Vercel hosts the public site. Cloudflare is the content delivery network for the public apex after activation; before activation, Vercel serves it directly. These providers process request details such as IP address, browser user agent, requested page and referrer to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Their infrastructure logs follow their own retention policies. See Vercel's privacy policy and Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Once the public apex runs through Cloudflare, we count AI crawler requests in aggregate by day, requested page path and claimed user agent. For these crawler counts, we use request IP addresses only to check crawler identities against published IP ranges; we do not save the IP addresses in our reports. Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a cookie-free script to measure visits and referral sources when enabled. This measurement begins only after this disclosure is live. We use the counts to understand traffic to public pages, not to identify or profile visitors.

If you write to admin@presspool.ai, your message and address are used only to answer you and, where you report an error, to correct the page. They are not added to any list or shared.

Data about companies

Everything published about a company comes from the public sources linked on its entry: the company's own announcement and the outlets that reported it. The AI citation counts come from the Machine Relations Index. Presspool does not publish information about individuals beyond the names of investors and companies as they appear in those announcements.
