About Presspool
Presspool is a sourced record of the companies building in new AI markets: niche maps of who is in each market, a weekly roster of the AI startup funding rounds they announce, a page for every company, and a count of how often ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Google's AI answers name each one.
Why it exists
A funding announcement is the moment a young company is most visible to the press and to buyers. It is not the moment AI assistants learn who the company is. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers build their answers from the sources they already trust, and a press release on its own rarely becomes one of them. Presspool records who is in each new market and what they announce, then measures that gap every week by asking the AI apps directly and by reading the Machine Relations Index.
Who publishes it
Presspool is owned and published by Jaxon Parrott, founder and CEO of AuthorityTech, the first Machine Relations agency. He coined the term Machine Relations in 2024.
How it stays editorially independent
No company pays to be listed and nothing on the site is sponsored. A round appears because it was publicly announced and meets the rule on the method page; it is removed or corrected only when the public record shows it is wrong. AuthorityTech clients are listed, or not, by the same rule as everyone else, and Presspool carries no advertising.
How to use it
Start from the niche maps, the company records or the latest weekly roster on the homepage. Every page is also available as Markdown by sending Accept: text/markdown or adding .md to its address; the data is at /niches.json, /companies.json and /weeks.json; and /llms.txt and /llms-full.txt summarize everything for AI agents. Corrections and questions go to the address on the contact page.
