About Press Pool
Press Pool is a weekly record of the AI companies that publicly announced a funding round, written one sourced line at a time, with a column showing whether AI answer engines already cite each company's website.
Why it exists
A funding announcement is the moment a young company is most visible to the press and to buyers. It is not the moment AI assistants learn who the company is. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers build their answers from the sources they already trust, and a press release on its own rarely becomes one of them. Press Pool records the announcements and measures that gap every week, using the Machine Relations Index as the instrument.
Who publishes it
Press Pool is owned by Jaxon Parrott, founder and CEO of the earned-media agency AuthorityTech and the person who coined the term Machine Relations.
How it stays independent
No company pays to be listed and nothing on the site is sponsored. A round appears because it was publicly announced and meets the rule on the method page; it is removed or corrected only when the public record shows it is wrong. AuthorityTech clients are listed, or not, by the same rule as everyone else, and Press Pool carries no advertising.
How to use it
Each week has its own page with every round, its sources and its AI citation count. The same content is available as Markdown by sending Accept: text/markdown to any page, as structured data at /weeks.json, and as a summary for AI agents at /llms.txt. Corrections and questions go to the address on the contact page.
